“Our future starts with our kids”

New research shows that witnessing or experiencing traumatic events like psychological, physical, and sexual abuse, and emotional or physical neglect can impact the physical development of a child’s brain — potentially leading to lifelong health and behavioral issues.

Yoga has been scientifically proven to help attain self-awareness and in turn improve kid’s test scores, stress management, and the ability to create positive habits.

We believe that our greatest impact happens when we can reach our kids and for this reason we’ve developed our in shelter kid’s yoga program.

We invite the children that live in shelter to join us an hour a week for fun interactive sessions where we explore themes and learn what it means to be mindful through yoga.
